Toeffler - this is what the hearty rustic wooden clogs with nailed shafts are called at Berkemann. Their origin lies in the 70s and they have since been continuously represented in different variants in the Berkemann range. The soft toeffler impresses with a particularly soft edge on the entry. The double-layered, extra leather protects the instep as a soft bead from chafing and makes wearing twice as comfortable. Like all toefflers from Berkemann – as a quality feature – the soft toeffler has a sturdy yet breathable genuine leather shaft, which is attached to the solid wooden sole with nails instead of cheaper staple needles. In addition, the original 5-phase footbed incorporated into the lightweight poplar wood sole supports the natural rolling process of the foot, while the toe grip function trains both foot and calf muscles with every step.
